Default Coconut formula(deep conditioning) PROTEIN PACK

Hola chicas, I'm just going to get right into it, I'm not very knowledgeable about protein treatments but I heard it was good for your and I also seen a YouTube video where a young lady did a protein treatment on her hair and some of her curls that were still damaged from heat came right back after the treatment, but here's my delima I don't have any heat/relax damage and I don't have any stubborn curls ,as I was reading the back of this packet that's what its mainly towards so my question is can I do a protein treatment just for my new growth and because its suppose to be good for you hair or am I wasting my time because it states that its for damaged hair?
