Any takers on a Protein & Cone sensitive section?

I don't know about anyone else, but I am sensitive to both the dreaded cones, and I am sensitive to the protein.

I was not sure whether I were sensitive to the protein until I recently stopped using Tressemme naturals without cones. It had ingredients that were high in protein (ie. avacado) and it made my hair dry and stringy but in a way slightly different than when it was dry and stringy from the silicones. Now I am using a mixture I made myself which consists of the following:

1 Part Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Part Grape Seed Oil
1 Part Extra Virgin Sesame Seed Oil

All parts of the oil are equal in ratio to each other.

A splash of Goya brand Limon juice (the label with the green lemon on it) so that there is a greenish yellow tint to the oil when the Limon is added, and so that the Limon is distributed in little droplets throughout the oil. [I do not work for Goya and have no conflict of interest. This is just what I had on hand that was Limon.]

Baking Soda. Put in enough baking soda so that there is a residue of baking soda left in the container used for mixing, after the oil and Limon juice has been drained into a bottle/container.

Six drops of lavender extract. The lavender extract is for fragrance purposes because the oil otherwise, is over-whelming. Also, where I work there are many frenetic people, and I figure, if I can be a subconscious figure of calm in the midst of frenzy, well, this can only help matters generally, and help me in particular. So, lavender oil extract it is for me.

I was wondering whether a section could be started on the site that was dedicated to people who have issues with proteins and cones. I figure that there are more people out there like me, and finding products without both proteins and silicones has been nearly impossible for me. I have yet to get to Sally's, but with my life as hectic as it is right now, that is not a likely event.

Hope all is well for everyone else.
Unexpected, I've been off cones for two years. Anyone who is CG, (Lorraine Massey's book Curly Girl) may choose to be off cones. It's pretty much cut and dry.
The protein issue is a little more complicated. And therefore, I feel needs a support forum here. All my products in my siggy are protein and cone free. Besides the suave coconut cond, which has silk protein.

Hi Goin' Grey. Thanks for the reply. I am glad to know of the products you use. I have bookmarked this page so that I can refer to it later. I was just wondering about adding a section that would combine the sensitivities to both the cones and the proteins as I have both, and thought someone else may too. The cones fried my hair and so did the protein. I think that the forum for the protein issues definitely needs to stay.

Thanks again for your help. I am still new to this whole thing, and I feel like I am crashing around the forest so to speak. I just hope I don't scare too many rabbits

Cheers!
