I just read that most likely protein-sensitive-hair people have very strong nails. Me!

And if one uses nail strengtheners with protein, nails flake and split. I wish I'd have known this years ago! I read this and tossed my nail polish strengthener out. No wonder my nails were splitting!

I'm protein sensitive too and my nails are pretty strongs when I don't wear fake ones (this stuff litteraly kills my nails but It's soooo addictive)
