I've been on a protein free diet (hairwise) for 8 mos., and while I suspected some breakage, my recent trip to my stylist for cut and color has made it very clear that I need some protein. I'm losing hair and not just full strands, but small little pieces are breaking off.
I did my first ever PT this week w/ the Sally's K-pak, and I can already see improvement in my curl pattern. I think I might try again next week and then once every 2 weeks until I feel that my hair is stronger. Of course, if I overdose on the protein, my hair will certainly let me know!
