There are a selected few products worth buying online, but for the convenience I love shopping at Sally's. What is your favorite hair products that are protein free you like to buy there?

I thought it had protein? Ah.... I got the biotera curl cream, and could not tolerate the strong perfume smell.

Can you tell how the biotera gel smells?

The Biotera gel has the same smell as the curl creme to me. In fact, it smells a little stronger, but I really like the smell so it doesn't bother me. I was using the glaze, but did not like how watery it was and I heard great things about the gel so I picked that up and really like it.

I didn't find these at Sally's I found them at the grocery store this morning. And I've seen them both in drugstores.
I just decided to try the protein free route because NOTHING else has made my hair happy over the last couple of months. And after reading all of my labels again all but two things in my arsenal have protein in them. And trying to find protein free products on the shelf is not easy.
So I picked up Organix Moroccan Argan Oil shampoo (7 bucks). It's sufate and protein free. It does have Dimethicone Copolyol in it, but from everything I could find it's water soluble and shouldn't build up. And considering how fabulous my hair feels right now, I'll chance it and use a Kinky Curly Come Clean once a month if I have to.
I also picked up Burts Bees Color Keeper Green Tea & Fennel Seed Conditioner (8 bucks). All very friendly and happy stuff.
Between the two my hair still smells good hours later but it's not so strong that it would over power my perfume.
I just let my hair air dry with zero products and it's not weighed down, it's soft for the first time in months. I'm very happy with results so far.
I still need a decent haircut. And I've ordered Curl Junkie's Rehab and Curly Hair Solutions Curl Keeper to hopefully keep me going on these happy protein free results.

I've recently bought the starter kit and that stuff just made my hair sort of squeaky. Curl Keeper is very watery, it will cease while in your hand. So, when you put it on make sure to be quick. It was a promising product when I first tried.
3b/C with nicer curls on the bottom!
Hair: naturally very dry and VERY porous
hair seems to be moody.
Does not seem to like oils
Does not like protein or too much?
Does not like rich products

So, I ask myself. What does it like? That is the question, and I'm on a mission.
