Default PT even if you're protein sensitive

Do you still need to do a PT if your hair doesn't like protein?

I saw a lady who used to do a PT then deep condition her hair but I'm not sure if she was protein sensitive .. or even use a moisturising leave in after the PT?

I do a pt (CJRM) either a few days before I get my hair colored. I do this this to ensure even color coverage. Then about a week after the hair coloring I do a dt (CJCR). That is the only I time I use protein. I must be doing something right because my stylist says I have the healthiest hair out of all of her clients.

HTH!

Well I don't colour my hair.. so you don't think its necessary at all then unless it gets damaged like from swimming or hair damage?

I try to do a PT every three months, but I stay away from products that have wheat protein though. I always follow it with a moisturizing treatment afterward.
