Default Cherry lola method? Too much for protein-sensitive curlies?

Hi everyone,

I have coarse, dense, low-porosity wavy hair.

I heard of the cherry lola method which is supposed to open the cuticle (which I need), but I'm concerned that the protein in the yogurt would be too much for my coarse hair...

For the record, I haven't tested to see if I'm protein-sensitive, but I have coarse/thick strands so I always figured I probably should stay away from protein.

I tried it once and my hair is protein sensitive. I like yogurt for PTs more than vegetable proteins

It didnt result in any brittle like hair , I would try it again as my resulting twistout was amazing , light and fluffy

Have u known of anyone saying their air drying time was reduced after during the "cherry lola" treatment? I did it today and normally my hair takes at least 8 hours to air dry but today afterward it took about 4 hours instead.
