Can you compare it to the coconut variety? I hated Suave Coconut and have hesitated to try any of the others.

Corrina777, Suave Coconut has protein. You should give the non protein ones a try. I use the Wild Cherry Blossom. It has a nice but strong scent in case fragrances are an issue.

Suave naturals everlasting sunshine ?
I was looking for it last night and couldn't find, but it was a small store. I did pick up the clarifying conditioner, in hopes that it would change my mind about Suave conditioners. I don't really know why the coconut didn't work- I don't think it's the protein because I cleanse with ION Reconstructor without any issues (I'm not actually protein-sensitive, just very intrigued by this product). It just made my scalp feel gunky. Hopefully one of the others will work better.

I have only used this condish twice and I love it. Reminds me of the suave vanilla floral scent from a few years back. I picked up mine from Walmart.

Loving it so far...
I know this thread is a little old, but I just tried this conditioner this morning and had to report...so far I am really loving it. I've been trying to stay away from products with too much protein, as my fine hair doesn't seem to like it (I know, weird), or glycerin (live in a dry climate). The weird thing is that, as I was trying products without protein or glycerin, I felt like my hair was getting worse - really gross and producty feeling, sometimes even more dry, and frizzy. I took a closer look at the ingredients, and did some research on here, and noticed that all of the natural/organic products I was trying had aloe as one of the top 3 ingredients, plus I was layering these products in my hair (LI, cream and gel). I think I've discovered that my hair does not like a lot of aloe, especially in my styling products (seems okay in my Tresemme Naturals condish, but perhaps that is because it is at the very bottom of the ingredient list, and since I use it as a RO, it doesn't stay in my hair). So...I began searching for products with no protein, no glycerin, and no aloe. Needless to say, that has proven to be somewhat difficult, as aloe seems to be in just about everything! So I've been relentlessly reading ingredient lists and noticed that Suave Naturals Everlasting Sunshine appears to be silicone-, protein-, glycerin-, and aloe-free. I had looked at this condish before and, I don't know why, but I was hesitant to try it. I finally decided to pick some up last night, so I could try a completely aloe free routine today. I'm so glad I did! This stuff is moisturizing, yet light (great for my fine hair), smells great, and has good slip. I used my CJDF to wash, then used this condish as both my RO and LI, then followed with a little SM Coconut & Habiscus Curl & Syle Milk. My hair is not completely dry yet, but so far it feels very soft and moisturized, my curls are looking back to normal (more curly/bouncy), and the frizz looks minimal. It also makes me wonder if maybe I'm not as sensitive to protein and glycerin as I thought (too much is definitely an issue, but maybe I don't need to completely eliminate those ingredients). I will try to post pics once my hair is completely dry, but I think I've found a keeper!

Your hair is beautiful before AND after, but I definitely see the difference in the curl pattern.
I actually like the before version better, but then there's no frizz evident in the photos. Isn't that our biggest challenge, finding the right balance between curl and poof? : )
Thanks for the review!

Thank you so muh! Yes, it is a challenge. I also like the before pics, but what the photos don't show is how horrible my hair felt to the touch (although that was a better day). If I could get it to look like that but still feel soft and silky, it would be hair perfection!
Here's the back of my hair today, now that it has completely dried (this is the area I struggle with most regarding frizz and definition)

Awwww...thank you! :-) I'm still struggling to find a routine that gives consistently good results, but so far I am liking this condish. It seemed to work really well with the SM curl & style milk, so I will have to try again and see if I get good results again!

After reading this your posts here, I got a bottle of the Everlasting Sunshine. I have to agree that is smells awesome. I didn't find it to have much slip though - at least not nearly as much as the Tres. Radiant Volume that I usually use for cowashing. My hair looks decent today after using it, but I need a few more days to form a final verdict...since I also started using a new gel and had to rush a little this morning, so curls we're damp when I SOTC. ) Thanks for all your product suggestions ladies.

I bought this Sunshine conditioner to co-wash because it smelled good. I rinsed it all out & use Tresseme Naturals as my leave in.
Yesterday, I co-washed with it for the first time & I did notice that my hair is much softer than normal. I previously had been co-washing with the coconut, rinse & use my Tresseme then my hair would dry into a crunchy, dry cast.
After reading this thread I'm realizing that maybe my hair is much softer & more moisturized because there's no protein in this one! That makes me so happy. I was starting to think that my Tresseme was no longer working or something but this makes sense. Lol! I've been wanting my hair to be softer & less dry feeling! Who knew? ;-P
