No Protein or Glycerin/Aloe

I think I'm going to avoid glycerin and aloe. I've been off protein for a while and my hair stopped falling out and stopped tangling. But now I am dealing with dryness/straw-hair/breakage due to something else - but I can't figure out what. It's happening with products with glycerin and/or aloe but I'm not sure if it's because of the low dew points or a real, actual sensitivity. Tonight my hair felt like it was *breaking off* b/c of HEBE ?? And same with the other day b/c of As I am + AOMM....

So I'm good with suave co-washes, and GVP Conditioning balm Condish/Ro but I need some more LI/Gel-styler options that are without glycerin/aloe/protein
The horesetail/nettle in KCCC seems to bother me. ANd IDK what in the HEBE bothered me - but it was pretty nasty!

Wow....too bad. My hair doesn't like protein but really loves AOMMJ and really likes KCCC but my hair doesn't care too much for aloe vera.
