Protein sensitivity makes your hair feel dry and strawlike. Not sure you need to avoid protein. Suave conditioner isn't very moisturizing. Your hair might be "reaching out" for moisture (which is why it's frizzing.)

It really helps to know your hair properties. Best way to choose ingredients/products. It also allows folks to be able to help you. Here's a link to help you with yours Curly Hair Basics | Live Curly Live Free Once you determine your properties, you can look for others with similar hair and see what they use.

I used to buy baby shampoo to wash my cats. The major one in US has SLS. You may want to mention the country you are in, so people can "chime in" on what might be available. Or, list some choices that you might have and maybe someone who is familiar with that product could comment.

Curlysmiler, see if iHerb ships to your country. They have a range of CG products including sulfate-free low-poos. Always read the ingredients before you buy... just because something says "gentle" or "for babies" on it doesn't mean it's true.

iHerb.com - Vitamins, Supplements & Natural Health Products.

I have a discount code, you can use it w/ iherb: CFN646

Don't use baby shampoo, it's neutral to alkaline so is gentle on eyes (pH ~8 ) but not on skin (pH ~5.5) or hair (pH ~4.5).

Here are the ingredients for the original Johnson's Baby Shampoo:
Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, PEG-80 Sorbitan Laurate, Sodium Trideceth Sulfate, PEG-150 Distearate, Fragrance, Polyquaternium-10, Tetrasodium EDTA, Quaternium-15, Citric Acid, Yellow 10 and Orange 4. May also contain: Citric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide.

Couldn't find one for "curly hair." There was a natural one, too, but the ingredients were in a chart, so I couldn't copy them. I wouldn't use this product because of the Polyquaternium-10. iHerb doesn't have the "Yes To" products that are very popular drugstore type products. Maybe others can recommend some others that they use and are available there.
