Buying shea butter?

Help! I was planning on making some body butters this Christmas and tried to pull up health2go.com where I'd gotten shea, coconut (oil), and mango butters before. I can't find it!

Does anyone have any suggestions about good - and cheap - butters, etc? Or know what happened to that site?

THANKS!

I never used that site- sorry. I have ordered from the following three sites. All have excellent quality & customer service.

A Garden Eastward: http://addy.com/brinkley/index.html
Mountain Rose Herbs: http://www.mountainroseherbs.com
Majestic Mountain Sage: http://www.the-sage.com/

Bath and Body Works has pure shea butter that is very reasonably priced.

You can also usually get coupons for the store by using a search engine (Yahoo, Google, etc.).
YES WE CAN!

kdcreigh 4a and b (who knows?)

Relegated to occasional lurking in order to keep the PJ in check!

Epicurean Shea Butter Company sells very high quality SB-
It is listed as "Unrefined Triple Filtered Shea Butter"-this is of higher quality than the B&BWs kind.

FANTASTIC recommendations!!!

THANK YOU! I've gotten some stuff and now I'm playing around with recipes for body butters. Did there used to be a section on this site of those recipes?

I make a shea butter cream that i sell on www.etsy.com (www.citybalm.etsy.com). I used to buy from health2go, but became dissatisfied with the quality. Now I buy my shea butter from www.oilsbynature.com, the have 8 different kinds and grades (http://www.oilsbynature.com/product-...ry/butters.htm). The smallest size they sell is 1 lb (my last purchase was a 15 and a 7 lb pail).

Majestic Mountain Sage, www.the-sage.com is great for small quantities of jars. If you want at least 50 jars, www.bayousome.com is cheaper.
OH!!!!!

My wonderful, reliable source for essential oils and fragrance oils is www.essential7.com. Gail, the owner, is terrific! She's always very helpful if I have questions, even though I don't order often, since the fragrances last so long.
