I love LALSG but want to stay away from protein and glycerin. I went to walgreen's in search of and bought Aussie Instant Freeze. Didn't have high expectations bc in the past I wasn't crazy about their products (particularly the smell) but that was all they had. I have to say I'm more than pleasantly surprised. Has hard hold, good shine and smell is kind of nice! I added just a pea sized amount of BHRG (as I do with LALSG) and I'm really liking it! 

So it's been about 2 weeks of using the Aussie Instant Freeze and I still love it! Better than LALSG! This could reach HG status although I think I'll always be looking for something "better".

For those of you interested in trying it, thanks to LaurieS I've learned it's on sale now at walgreen's.
