Hello ladies. I am a brand spanking newbie and have been trolling the forums, reading and learning all I can. I did feel the need to put my 2 cents in on the topic of It's A 10. I have a mix of 3a/mostly 3b hair that is extremely damaged and of a very high porosity. I cant remember what good hair feels like and to make matters worse I recently had a dye job, gone very wrong. It really did a number on my locks. My hair was almost black, and that is no where near the light golden brown I asked for. I was fed up with my hair dresser. He had done this to me before (many years ago). He always believed he knew what was best for my hair, and was the worlds worst to damaged it further with rough combing, etc... Now let me get back to the point. I waited a few weeks before booking an apt with a fantastic stylist, who has been helping me get on the right path. I was trying to get my hair as healthy as possible before she corrected the color (in stages). I saw It's a 10 in the drug store, went home and read hundreds of glowing reviews, and purchased it the next day. Horrifying mistake! It ate my hair up. 4 weeks later I am still trying to recover from it, and I had to have my medium locks cut even shorter to remove the damage. I know products react different in every hair type but if someone with hair close to mine stumbles across this... RUN!!
