Nubian heritage: raw shea butter frankencense and myrrh bar soap
So let just jump right into. Last night I call myself trying to use this soap as a shampoo bar... OMG this was and epic fail! Although my scalp was clean (my main reason for using it); my hair felt squeakly clean yet waxy if that makes sense. It was awful! I don't know was could have cause such a reaction with my hair. The ingredients sounded good: shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, palm seed oil, soy milk, vitamin e, extracts of frankincense and myrrh, vegetable glycerine. The only thing I could think of that might cause my hair to feel this way is the frankincense and myrrh. I think I will melt it down and add more shea butter to it and see if that helps, if not then I'll chalk it up to a failure! The bad thing about it is that I really wanted this to work great, but not at all!
none the less I'm going to try it again so I'll let y'all know the results of my second attemp! Crosses fingers
Well trying to melt it didn't work so I'll just stick to regular shampoos.
