Default Looking for a curl cream/mousse... recommendations?

I'm currently using two different gels on my 2c/3a hair (loreal everstyle and garnier fructis spray gel) and it is leading to a little more crunch/dryness than I want. I'm wondering if using a mousse or a cream would make a difference?

Anyone have any recommendations? I have heard good things about herbal essences totally twisted but was wondering what else might be out there.

I just picked up the HE TT mousse today on a whim, I wanted to try a mousse and cannot find the Clairol 3-in-1 that is getting good reviews. I'll post what I think about the HETT - though I don't have high hopes for it, the reviews are all over the board on it. It doesn't have cones, but it has polyquats and my hair doesn't always play well with those. It's hit and miss. The smell is super strong and I don't do well with strong smells, so I'm not sure if I can keep it. But I'm going to give it a try! It was only $2.77. BTW, is the Garnier CG? If it has cones, that could explain the problems you're having.

I've been using Curly Kinks twisted whip as a curl cream for the past few days and I think I'm really liking it. I'm getting very moisturized and well behaved curls!
