Default I think I found my HG!

Hey all! I've lurked occassionally in the past but just created an account because I wanted to share the products I found that I think are my new HG!

I have 2b/2c hair and I'm not really sure about all the other stats except for that my hair is very dry! I also highlight it.

Anyway, I've been looking for products that are non-toxic/natural due to health concerns/problems. I've tried many that really sucked, but finally found some I love!

So, for shampoo, I really like the Beautiful Curls no sulfate shampoo for wavy to curly hair. It was very drying on my hair until I found a good conditioner, but now that I have, it works very well.

I found a conditioner I absolutely love at Trader Joe's. It's their TJ Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner with peppermint and eucalyptus. I absolutely love it! It smells so good and it's nice and tingly and provides a lot of slip, unlike many other "natural" conditioners I've tried. Can't recommend this enough.

After I get out of the shower, I use some Beautiful Curls leave in conditioner/detangler (from the babies and up line) and it smells sooooo good! It smells like those old cream savers by life savers. It makes my hair so soft. I highly recommend this one also.

I'm like my hair with a lot of definition but not a lot of hold so this is all I use. I also bought some curl oil by Beautiful Curls, but I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure how I'll like that--I may take it back because I'm not sure I need it.

Overall, I like the Beautiful Curls line a lot, but I think the babies and up products are better than the wavy to curly (haven't tried any of the curly to kinky products). Whole foods has them, and they're pretty reasonably priced. If you've ever thought about trying them, I would recommend it!

Thats awesome. I'm happy to hear you're so happy!
I've been thinking about trying that line so it's good to hear positive results.

And welcome to the boards
