REQUEST: Beautiful Textures Curl Definer Styling Custard

Would someone do a review of this product, perhaps comparing it to KCCC?? I'm interested in it because of the $7 price tag, but not sure if they are even comparable. Anyone?

Thanks ladies and gents!

I saw the Beautiful Textures Styling Custard in Sally's yesterday and because I'm a big fan of the Beautiful Textures line already, I gave it a try. I would recommend it because it gave me really defined curls with good hold, but without being crunchy. It flaked near the front because I got heavy-handed with it, but I put a little of their Curl Definer Mousse on it, and it helped with the flaking. My hair was not freshly washed in the pics, and still damp but I think it turned out good. I'm a 4b/4c... Follow me on Twitter and Instagram @Color_Of_Beauty

Thanks!! Sounds like some good stuff. Have you used KCCC before? Would you compare the two?

I used KCCC once about a year ago, and I remember it flaked some, but not the results, so I can't give them a fair comparison. I will say that the BT gives defined curls and it's a reasonable price; 6.89 (6.19 with a Sally's Card) for a 15 oz container.
First two pics are second day hair from previous post and last two pics are from today; two-strand twist using BT Moisture Butter and Curl Definer Styling Custard

I think the two products are interchangable. I bought the Beautiful Textures product last night and I will never buy the KCCC again. I love the KC Knot Today leave-in, but their products do not play well with other lines. BTCD is thinner than KCCC, so it stretches further and I use less of it. My hair was a little crunchy. In the past, I would mix IC Activator for moisture, so I will try that next time. I may even try their silkening oil. It eliminated a lot of the frizz and volume. Before today, I had frizzy roots and 3b/c ends (my curls little looser on one side of my head, more like kinky roots and wavy ends). Now, I have a consistent curl pattern throughout. I may use a little less next time to keep a certain level of volume.
