BRHG is my HG go to product but it is a bit expensive so I allways use another gel underneath.
When I heard about Volumax as a comparison to BRHG I bought it to try.
The BRHG leaves my with curls that are well defined and hold all day, but it takes some work to get the scrunch out and my hair has a slight product feel. It does leave my hair a little flat.
The Volumax defines my curls and holds them but it gives me so much volume ( I need volume!) without the frizz, the crunch goes away with just a little scrunching and leaves my hair so soft!
Right now we have dews in the high 70s and I only use SMCS under the gel , love my results

Three cheers for Volumax Mega Gel!!!

I am loving it over CIAB & I'm having great luck refreshing with some VM gel on wet hands scrunched in then diffused till crunchy. Wake up, scrunch out the crunch and smooth a few strays on the canopy and I think I have better 2nd day hair then first day (shinier and wavier). I'm super duper happy with it. LOL

(I haven't tried BRHG)
