Default Ex Dark JBCo or Original?

I recently came across the Sunny Isle Extra Dark Jamaican black castor oil while shopping for a JBCO. An insert of the product description reads: "Our Extra Dark Oil, as the name implies, has the most Ash Content. It is thick and rich and is the most effective Oil for all your Hair and Skin conditions." Frankly, I have no idea whether this is true or not and have no way of telling at the moment, so I was hoping that someone here who has perhaps tried both the original and extra dark formula of a JBCO could tell me how they compared. I have yet to try any JBCO and I'm not sure if it would be worth getting the ex dark. Thank you
