Modern Elements Rollabout Dryer

I bought this hair dryer from Sally's. It was on sale for$88 and I used my 15% off. Wish I had waited for May 15 and got a $10 gift card but oh well.

Anyway a hair stylist told me she uses it in her shop and works well. I bought it and I love it. I have a tabletop hooded dryer and it is extreme loud so I can't hear tv or even my tablet. It is super hot so after 20 minutes I need a break and it dries out my roots if I leave it on high for very long and don't have gel in my hair. Also it's hard to find a table the right height so I bought a tv tray then use books underneath it or me.

My rollabout is not very loud. I could turn my tablet volume all the way up and hear it. Has hot, medium and cool. Adjusts to whatever height I need.Actually I double checked it was on high because I was able to sit comfortably. I sat an hour no break just fine. My hair wasn't completely dry but I could have easily sat another 30 so it would be but went to bed and let air dry. Also with my other dryer the heat wouldn't get to my nape and sides well so sometimes top is dry and sides super wet. With this heat distributed evenly and it has a faceguard I think helps keep heat in and circulating. I used a mixture of roller sizes. The biggest was gray. And they fit

Cons. The assembly is not extremy hard but isn't super dooper easy. At least not for me. Some of the parts that connect are a tight fit. Also I had trouble loosening the height adjuster initially like a new pickle jar but after that was fine. I wouldn't mind a deeper hood because I do have even larger rollers but all good. I'm going to keep my old one for travel but I'm really happy with my new one and how I can move it around. My style came out beautiful btw.
Sounds interesting!

I own one of those professional salon hair dryers that come with wheels on it too. I find it to be much better than using those table top dryers, which i had used for many years prior. They are pretty pricey, but they are worth the investment. The two biggest and best investments i can say that i have gotten for my hair is my salon style hair dryer and my Heutiful Steamer. As i truly love them both.

I bought a table top last week. The hot n gold. It was so flimsy and HUGE I never even turned it on. Returned to Sally's the next day because I know I would break it I'll get one with wheels after I move

I still like it. To me the table top was extremely noisy. And it was hard to find a surface to sit it on that I would be the right level under the dryer. I had to sit on pillows or put books under the dryer ect to figure it out. the roll about has a knob where you can put it where you want it height wise. My new dryer has 3 temp setting cool low and high. The other had two. I also have more options of where I use it in the room. I can sit in front of my computer now for example. Also with the table my nape and near my ears didn't get much heat. Sometimes rest of my hair would be dry and that soaking wet there so I would have to sit bacwards under dryer for awhile. My rollabout has a flap that comes down and helps keep heat inside the unit circulating which dries those areas more. Now I will say the dryer insn't as deep but I can use red rollers at the top stll but my gray rollers have to go in the back if I use them. I kept my table for travel.
I wish I had more room. That's my one beef about the tabletop is no cool setting so I can run into that same problem. I don't really need it on summer but winter is looong.
