Default What is the best Suave or V05 conditioner......

to use for Co-Washing? Opinion's needed! :-)

Step 1: Shampoo every day or every other day with either Graham Webb Making Waves or Herbal Essences Hello Hydration

Step 2: Condition every day with either Graham Webb Making Waves or Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. Finger comb through and let sit for the rest of my shower

Step 3: Rake in one pump of TIGI Curls Rock Amplifier and then scrunch.

This routine is working pretty well for me...... and it is simple

Suave Tropical Coconut seems to get good reviews, as does Citrus Smoothie.

Let's see.... I've tried... Aloe & Waterlily, Coconut, the beachy one, the waterfall one (sorry I go through like 2 a month) the strawberry one, lavender lilac....

Honestly: I find them to be completely interchangeable as co-washes. I just go for whichever happens to be 99 cents that day and buy 5. Do a board search, IIRC a lot of ppl have found the green apple one to be somewhat more clarifying, plus some of them have honey as an ingredient (athough who knows how much is in there!) so you could keep that in mind. Just buy the scent that appeals to you most.

I do like to have the coconut on hand, so that I can mix it with Virgin Coconut Oil for a DT.

I really like VO5 Calming Chamomile for co-washes. It smells nice and I think VO5 is better than Suave.

I like V05 a lot. Makes my hair nice.

Can't compare it much to suave...the coconut conditioner made me itchy...perhaps because perfume is so high on the ingredients list.

I really love Suave Toasted Vanilla Sugar for cowashing, but it is kind of hard to find. The Suave clarifying condish is good too, it is really light and has kind of a clean linen scent.

In the VO5 line, I have recently rediscovered Kiwi-Lime, it seems to cleanse really well. Also like the Vanilla Mint Tea and that citrusy VitaBurst one.

Giant Eagle has VO5 on sale for .59 this week!

Vo5 Strawberies and Cream (good enough to even leave in and use as a styler occasionally).

I like them both, particularly suave coconut or vo5 straw&cream or van mint -- going to pick up some suave toasted vanilla too since I am out.

I've used Sunkissed Raspberry for a long time. I also like Kiwi Lime for clarifying, but I can't find it anymore so I picked up some Vanilla Mint Tea Clarifying co. I like VO 5 better than Suave, also.

Has anyone tried VO5 passionfruit smoothie? I have a bottle and am reluctant to try it since my JC products are working so well, but I also want to stretch them so I can try to save them a little.

I've tried suave as a co wash and it's too heavy for me. I say the VO5 Vanilla Mint too. I also use it as a leave in mixed with Shea Moisture and it works really well
