Shea Terra coupon - 30% off till 8/2
For you shea butter and shea butter product lovers. They also sell Argan and other oils, creams, lotions, sprays, shower creams. Their raw shea butter is very high quality.
Upon checkout enter coupon code NECTAR for 30% off everything online.
Note - I was going to order on-line but noticed their order form is not https:// but http:// and you have to put your credit card in. I will order by phone tomorrow and tell them why. Update - I ordered by phone; they are aware of the unsecure ordering site and are working with their provider. It used to be secure.

Oooh, good catch -- I am always cautious about Web site security, too.
Re: Shea Terra. The order I placed two weeks ago arrived yesterday and I'm very happy! I got the "Shea Gold" shea butter and just love it. But what I love even more is the Vanilla Bourbon shower gel! WOW! It smells so good, I'm afraid I might just slurp some out of the bottle.
I think it was you who turned me on to these people, so I just want to say THANK YOU!

It looks like they only have scented shea butter? Do they sell unrefined, unscented EAST African shea? And are the scented ones unrefined East African? I was looking late last night, and I probably was just too tired to look thoroughly...I think I need to revisit the site.

SBB, could you please enlighten some of us on the use of the products. I read all of the threads and am intrigued (for a change) about trying these--especially on sale. I'm assuming the scented shea is appropriate for hair. How about the skin creams? They look all natural. There is one the is pineapple coconut that sounds great. For everyone else, here's the description:
"Dip into this thick, creamy blend for your own lush, tropical oasis! Our 30% shea butter cream is whipped with organic pineapple juice and organic cocnut cream and coconut milk. This cream will deeply moisturize your skin while you luxuriate in the delectable aroma of authentic, rich coconut and sweet, juicy pineapple. 99% natural and doesn't contain artificial fragrance, coloring or parabens."
I'd also assume the spray oils would be good for hair. I'm sure all of us who would be taking a first venture into these shea products would appreciate you wisdom on this.

Yes, I believe they do, at least they used to. They also have shea butter from Burkina Faso and something called Nilotica -- I love it! Shea butter varietals. The West African also. These are all raw and unscented. I only get the unscented raw WA and it has a very pleasant nutty smell that fades quickly and a creamy consistency.
Shea Terra sends cute samples every time I purchase so that is how I first tried the creams. They are very rich, good for winter and excellent for my feet and hands. I keep a little sample pot of body cream in my handbag and at my desk. I have a full size Tunisian fig and olive cream. I also bought the lotion and shower gel. Lotion is nice, but pumps are a bit tough for me. I actually prefer the lotion, although both cream and lotion are nice. Shower gel's okay. I also have the little pot of Morrocan amber (solid fragrance). And this time I bought the Argan oil and that mama belly oil or whatever (I'm going to try on my hair).
I don't use shea butter too much on my hair (no reason except I love JC Nourish & Shine) but when I do, it's usually a tiny smidge mixed with Devacurl Set it Free on second day hair. Or I rub a bit on wet ends before styling.
Note - her other site is easier to navigate and has more information, but you can't use the promo code there

Suburbanbushbabe, as always, you are a wealth of information, and I thank you for responding. I do see the East African Shea which is the Shea Nilotica Certified Organic Shea Butter on the other link you provided, but not on the sale link. I just received some of the same that I purchased on Ebay which is an exceptional quality, and I love it, so I wanted to see how the price was here. Much better on Ebay, but it was worth a shot for future reference. But some of the other creams/lotions look amazing...I have another day or so to browse .

Just thought I'd let you guys know there is another coupon code that lasts until October 1st. I haven't tried their products, but I saw it on another forum and had to report back to my curlies!
This month Woman's World Magazine is featuring Shea Terra Organics with a generous 30% off coupon. We would like to extend this coupon to all of our faithful customers. To take advantage go to www.sheaterraorganics.com. After putting goodies into your cart and going to check out use the code WWMAG. You do not have to log in to place order. Offer expires Oct. 1, 2008 (not too long away).
