Ita with the above. You should tell your mom that she should be glad you are experimenting with your hair and not drugs or alcohol for Pete's Sake. That's what my own mother told her friend and my dad when they got all worked up over me dyeing my hair at your age. She was grateful that I was expressing myself in a safe and legal manner. AND although she did not like my hair color choice (motor oil black) or the amount of money I was spending, she was grateful that I was spending it on hair stuff and not on rehab or bailing me out of the slammer or worse. She should lighten up for sure.
