I used CIAB mixed with Ecostyler today. Definitely a great combo! I had awesomely formed spirals all around, soft, shiny and best of all zero frizz! I got a compliment at the grocery store from a cashier with beautiful shiney and straight long hair. Thanks for the tip empressri!

i've been using ciab on dry hair, when i've been in situations where my hair has become flat, losing some curl -- ie, shopping & pulling clothing full of static repeatedly over my head/hair, or hanging out in a very dry building all day, just sucks all the moisture out of my hair, i come home, rub some ciab in my hands, like a serum, and rub it over my hair, maybe run my fingers thru my hair, and it looks same as did that morning!

I've been struggling with CIAB as after 2 uses I have to ACV - my hair's been going very strange. But I'm wondering about using it mixed with gel. Can't get my hands on Ecostyler, wonder if Fuzzy Duck would be as good????

I'm sorry janeyliz. I've never used Fuzzy Duck so I don't really know . I'm sure empressri has...she has everything LOL. It probably would be something you can experiment with. I've used CIAB like a serum over many different products after reading about it from FrizzBgone. It works like a charm this way.

I didn't find the Fuzzy Duck did much for me, but I'm not a gel person much of the year. I LOVE the CIAB--it worked really well for me in high dewpoints and low dewpoints. No sure about the middle dewpoints.

LOL!!!!!!! I saw that angel!!!

Of course I have fuzzy duck definitely NOT the same as ecostyler as the hold is much, much lighter. I've used CIAB with my fuzzy duck and either...ecostyler on top, and last time I experimented with la looks curl gel (the blue one). I prefer it with the ecostyler and fuzzy duck. Lots of clumps and shine. No flakes!

Hi Empressri

I apply all my other styling products - CIAB isn't included in that list (!!!). After I've plopped and then clipped my hair - just before I start to diffuse, I scrunch in approximately 2 dimes worth of CIAB. I start on each side and work my way back, scrunching it in. I then start to diffuse. I use Gel-les'c the same way.

HTH
oooh i must try it that way thanks!!!

CIAB is definitely awesome! I can use it alone, no other gels needed! Today I'm going to do the Ecostyler test though...

Default 2's?

I'm seeing pretty much all 3's reviewing on CIAB and wondered if any 2's are using this and what their take is.

Definitely makes a shine difference.

But I liked how my hair looked (I used the SS stuff with some JoiGel), just not as shiny.

I am going to have to try this tomorrow...my Eco hasn't been working for me in the higher dews, so my fingers are crossed.
