Smile Fruit Smoothie to eliminate frizz

To eliminate frizz:

I just found this recipe in Seventeen Magazine:

Mix 1 banana, 1/4 cantaloupe (without the rind), 2 tbsp yogurt, and 1 tbsp olive oil together in a blender.

Apply mixture to damp, unwashed hair, and comb thru from roots to tips.

Allow it to sink in for 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse well. Shampoo and condition your hair, and style as usual.

Has anyone ever heard or done this?

I tried it a couple of months ago (trying to imitate a conditioner from MyHoneyChild). It didn't impress me. I still dc'd afterward. Didn't help with slip, didn't moisturize, didn't do a darn thing for my frizz. PLUS, I had to remove those damn babana chunks from my hair. I learned the hard way to use baby food bananas from now on lol.

sagehen,

Thanks for your thoughts. I think I'll pass on it.

I meant to add this from this same forum:
Banana Deep Conditioner

I use this recipe (with baby food bananas) and my hair likes it pretty well. I sometimes substitute yogurt for the egg.
