Default Anyone used jojoba jelly for skin?

im looking for a face moisturizer.. nothing works, i have sensitive acne prone skin. Acne products irritate my skin so i have better luck using gentle products. I use Olay Sensitive Foaming Face wash w. good results. I love using oil on my face, but these two alone are good for my skin but not enough to fight my acne.. so i need something more.
So i was thinking aloe vera gel since its supposed to help w. acne, i would like to mix this with the oil & Jojoba jelly has glycerin too i believe. Anybody use this combo or anything similar on their face?

I use jojoba oil as a moisturiser sometimes, normally overnight. It takes a while to get used to the consistency, but it's great for reducing inflammation and making your skin glow. I used to use it as a day moisturiser too, but it tends to wear off quite quickly, so maybe mixing it with something that retains moisture would be an idea.

I recently bought some jojoba oil after hearing how some loved it for their hair. WOW! I rubbed the excess into my hands and am now in love with this oil. I have severely dry arms and legs and have not found a moisturizer that relieved it. After the experience with my hands, I rubbed it all over my arms and legs. My skin soaked it up right away. Absolutely no greasy feel! Soft skin I have never had before. Even when I was in high school, my boyfriend complained about my hands - felt like a "crab". 40 years later, I have found a solution! Cannot live without jojoba!

Reeky,
Don't think I really addressed your question with my last post so am going to try again.
My daughter has similar issues. She uses Cetaphil Sensitive Skin wash on her face. It has really made a difference. She had horrible results with the drying products her dermatologist gave her. After my experience with jojoba oil (not gel) I am going to tell her about it. It's not expensive (8.00 goes a long way). Got it at a health food store. Jojoba oil is the most molecular equivalent to human sebum. And doesn't feel like an oil.

Personallly, I use Arbonne products to wash my face but they are pricey and am looking for alternatives. Am thinking of going to Cetaphil and jojoba oil.

i have used cetaphil antibacterial bar for my face with great results until my skin got accustomed to it..
id suggest this but i would use it every other day alternated with something else like the regular soap or olay foaming face wash for sensitive skin so. This might lessen your chances of your face getting used to the antibacterial (for acne) cause it was great!

ive recently discovered that hazelnut oil is the best for oily skin because its slightly astringent.. i ordered some and am waiting for it to come in the mail. I hope it works, its like the only thing i havent tried so far!
