Depression and coconut oil...huh!!!

Funny how I was reminded through a home remedies app to buy some coconut oil today. I found out coconut oil is good for depression. I'll k.i.t. on how that goes!

ive never heard of that before. i gotten coconut oil twice now. and both times i never felt a change of mood...... though now that i think about it, it smells amazing, so much of a happy smell i guess? so that could be what they mean.

my hair: 3c, high porosity, high density and coarse hair (i think i finally figured that all out)
my hair loves conditioner only styling!
my hair goal length is bra strap length when curly.

I also blog about my hair journey, please feel free to read and comment/ask questions http://www.naturallycurly.com/blogs/...air-blogs/2494
Thanks for the tip, wonder how much I need to use?
Do u need to eat it to get the benifits or is body and har use okay
Is that why pina coladas are so theraputic?

Seriously, though, there's something about just the smell of coconut that raises my spirits. I live in a constant struggle with depression (Bipolar II), and it's amazing how the smallest things that most people wouldn't even notice can make a difference for better or worse.

I love to garden, and I don't like to wear gloves. Interestingly, my psychiatrist said that there have been studies done on antidepressants in soils. Apparently a lot of depressed people like digging in dirt and getting all muddy!

It's all very strange, but I'm really looking forward to tomorrow.
It's my mum's birthday tomorrow as well, so maybe visiting the allotment in the morning will make going to her grave more bearable...
My hair is in the 4s, low in porosity, high in density and coarse.
