Hello ladies. I have been on search of a natural deodorant and I found recipes on here.
I really really liked the baking soda, corn starch, and coconut oil mixture but it irritated my armpits BAD. As I stated in the one threads that it turned my armpits BLACK.
I stopped using that deodorant and tried Toms of Maine and didnt like it. I then tried Crystal roll on and didnt like it. I started doing a detailed search and found a recipe that called for shea butter, cocoa butter, vitamin E, corn starch, and baking soda. I had no idea where to get shea butter or cocoa butter so I did another search on if you could use Palmers Cocoa butter formula because it has vitamin and shea in it. BAM!!!
Here is it...

I cut the recipe in Half and switched the baking soda and corn starch ratio because baking soda irritates me... so here is the recipe
1.75 oz Palmers Cocoa Butter formula (I used the pump bottler)
5 TBS Corn Starch
3.5 TBS Baking Soda
Over a double broiler melt the palmers slowly and add the cornstarch and baking soda until creamy. I then Put it into a deodorant container. This half recipe filled one whole deodorant container and about 2/3 of another. I put them in the fridge to cool.
Ive been using this recipe for a little over a week now and Im LOVING IT. It was exactly what I was looking for. Hopefully it will be helpful for others with sensitive armpits! Keeps me fresh, dry, and the cocoa butter adds a slight fragrance.
