Do any of you ladies make smoothing serum? I like to straighten my hair some times and it the end and the hair around my face get really frizzy some times and Id much rather have something homemade than store bought.

Please share your recipes!!!

The past couple days I've been mixing a dab of my usual conditioner (suave naturals) with pure flaxseed gel, which seems to work relatively well. My dry hair really likes cream-based stuff, which is why I tried it in the first place... and the FSG just soaks into my hair, so it doesn't look sticky or stringy.

Hair hates: non-keratin protein, glycerin, sorbitol, sulfates, polyquats, co-washing (flaky scalp)
Hair loves: fewer/more natural ingredients, moisture
