Default Flax-Seed Gel help!!

Okay, I recently brought flax seeds but I think I brought the wrong kind. I see all the Youtube videos of how to make them and their flax seeds look like, well, seeds... but I brought this exact one:

And it's not all seeds but like crushed dusty seeds! :O Do I take it back to the store?

Flax seeds are really good for your insides too, so you could always keep them and sprinkle them on your cereal or add them to smoothies.

To make the hair gel, you do need the whole seeds. It really doesn't make a difference it you get the brown or golden, but the golden looks better.

I bought the crushed kind by accident awhile back. It is yummy in yogurt. But yes only the whole seeds makes the gel.
