I've got my routine down now to almost all natural products. I'd like to try to make a curl cream but haven't seen anyone post a recipe here for one. Have I missed that or does anyone know of a good homemade curl cream recipe?

try the flaxseed gel on here. mix it with aloe vera and EO's if you like!

Thanks, namom3. I actually discovered I wasn't using enough of the flax seed gel. Once I tripled the amount I was using I found I don't need a curl cream any more. FSG is great!

One thing I discovered the other day that works too....I made some mock KCCC and added equal parts of flaxseed gel and a tad of agave nectar. It turned out to be more of a creamy gel. Wow! I just scrunched in a dab of a ultra hold flax gel on top (just in case) and had a great hair day. I had a lot of volume, no frizz, and great second day hair.

Has anyone heard of beauty for ashes? They are a all natural beauty company, I think you can only get their stuff online. They are kinda expensive, but it is all natural- the product has a shelf life.

I use the FOTE brand of AVG and still use a little xanthan and it turns out great. I made this and added equal part of FSG and about 1 tsp. agave nectar, or you could use honey. HTH. Let me know how you like it.

*you can actually substitute any oil that you like. For a creamier consistency, you could use coconut oil (melted) insted of the jojoba. I used lavendar and rosemary essential oils in mine.
