Oh my goodness! Are you from around here too? Over in the Curl Gatherings board there is a post for TX curlies. I'm trying to find enough of us to warrant a meeting.

Does coconut oil leave your hair feeling oily or greesy?

No...it doesn't leave mine greasy or oily, but I don't use a whole lot. I use a small scoop under my conditioner from time to time.

Could I use this on second and third day dry hair? I have very fine hair and oils in conditioners or leave ins make my hair go droopy and lifeless. Yes, I'll have real conditioned and shiney hair but NO curl.
But I get the frizzy's on 2nd and 3rd day.

Aren't we spoiled here? We have two different Super Wal-marts we go to regularly.

So is the coconut oil always in a solid form like that?
I think so.. until it gets warm.

I usually use coconut oil as a deep treatment sometimes. Coconut oil is something that they used in the Philippines as a hair treatment as well. My parents taught me how to make coconut oil out of coconut milk.
