Default whats a good

protein treatment? I wonder if my hair is lacking . Its been falling and very dry. I have been using carols daughter and my hair is not too happy when in the shower. hahaa
any help of suggestions would be appreciated.

I have 3 b and c hair.

Also, is it true that henna loosens and adds moisture to the hair?

Don't use henna, so can't answer that one. This is a great easy protein treatment.

"Magic" frizz reducer treatment with * pics *

It reduces frizz--because of the protein. I've stopped using it because I didn't care for the smell. It stayed in my hair all day. I went back to my Nexxus products.

I like the deep pack chakrah:
1 Tbsp powdered egg
1 Tbsp powdered milk
a couple drips of honey
a little cream (optional) a couple tablespoons
a cup of warm water

mix the p. milk, p. egg and honey to form a paste them mix water in well and then stir in the cream.

apply to hair and wrap in a plastic wrap tubin and let sit at least an hour, then rinse and shampoo/ condition according to your routine

i really like this because it is cheep and easy. it may be a little more involved than opening a package from the store, but it is easier than going to the store with my baby.

thank you both!
I am so excited ,I did my first homemade DT today, thanks to this site and thread.

here's the combo:
half of an avocado
1/3 can of coconut milk
1/2 tps of coconut oil
a couple drops of evo
vanilla yogurt

I threw all the above ingredients to a blender and plopped it all on my dry hair.
I loved the curl and definition it gave my hair! I am trying this again.

Hair: naturally very dry and VERY porous
hair seems to be moody.
Does not seem to like oils
Does not like protein or too much?
Does not like rich products

So, I ask myself. What does it like? That is the question, and I'm on a mission.
