Hot oil treatment recipe

i'm looking for a good hot oil hair treatment. what good recipes do u have that u want to share?
Multi-textured head! 3a w/ some 3c, medium to high porosity, medium to coarse texture, dry!

My current favorites: Suave naturals shampoo, Suave coconut, Organix argan and moroccan oil conditioner, GFTN, LALMG, FSG <3!!

Not a huge fan of CG :/
Well, I do a hot oil treatment ever saturday. I usually just heat up about a quarter-cup(ish) of sesame oil with a few tablespoons of sandalwood and/or coconut oil till slightly warm to the touch. Then I rub it into my scalp and massage the rest into my hair, leave on for 30 minutes, then wash out. I'm new to CG, so do u have any tips on how to wash out hot oil without sulfate shampoos?
I do a hot oil treatment with 1 TBS of honey and 2 tbs of coconut oil (or 1 tbs coconut oil and 1tbs olive oil). I put the ingredients into a sandwich bag then place the bag in warm water. once it's warm I take it out and puncture the bag and squeeze all over my scalp and hair then massage it through. I then put on a plastic cap and leave it in my hair for about 20 to 30 minutes then I rinse it out.
- don't let everybody elses long straight weave bum you out. don't let other people's big/long natural hair bum you out either. embrace what you have and rock it with confidence, because that's the only way you'll be happy. and whether you realize it or not you are somebody's influence. show them what it truly means to be confident.

Im going to have to try that @Cali Chik. If you don't mind me asking what type is your hair? I want to know so I know how to measure it for my own hair..

I'm slowly going crazy over the progress of my hair... I'm content with the length but the texture is not how i want it!

You might want to warm the oil in a heat resistant container.

Actually, olive oil by itself is a great, affordable hot oil treatment. I do them weekly (mostly during the winter; in the summer I just do oil rinses) and focus on my scalp and ends. It works great!

Coconut oil is another good alternative because it penetrates the hair. If you're into ayurveda, try vatika oil; it's coconut oi infused with ayurvedic herbs.
