I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
That is awesome awesome garlic bread. I love that it has actual garlic in it and isn't just a piece of bread rubbed with one garlic clove for a split second.

Oh, YUM. I love bread. And garlic. I tend to choose restaurants based on the bread they serve. Hee. I'm a carb junkie.
Came home from work today and look what the Food Fairy left on my counter!!
I'm eating the corn right now (yea, blowing my low carb diet tonight), and a tomato salad.
Now what to do with those eggplant.

the food fairy is my dad. : )

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the eggplant was your eggplant salad. I will use one of them up for that.
I sliced one up tonite, breaded it in some seasoned soy flour and egg, and fried it up in a little olive oil.
Then still have one more to do someting with.

Eggplant, God love 'em.

Since tomorrow (today now I guess) is International Bacon Day, I am having bacon with every meal. Woohoo!

I wonder how some bacon crumbled up in pancakes would be....

Man, I could go for a few slices of bacon right now.. pure evil, that stuff.

This turned out great! I used a little less lemon and more garlic than the recipe called for and I love it. Will be great on veggies or pita chips. I'm going to have some in a low carb pita pocket for lunch!

and the bacon pancakes? super yum.

I have bacon frying for this recipe as we speak, although I am using 6oz of bacon as opposed to the little 2oz called for.

I'll be up long enough for it to be a four meal day, so I am having scrambled eggs for breakfast with bacon, the sprouts right before work and during my break at work.

When I come home, I'll have a blat. A blt with avocado.

I just rolled out of bed (yes, it's 10AM, shame on me, I stayed up until 3AM reading and now I feel like I've been hit by a truck) and THIS is the first thing I read as I'm waking up waiting on the coffee to brew. Oh, how I wish someone was making *me* breakfast today!

It all sounds so good!! Jeep, so glad that hummus turned out. I've still yet to buy and make anything with eggplant *oh, the shame*

I think today we're sticking with a classic: fried eggs over easy on an english muffin, bacon and hubbys favorite cheese grits. Now if I can just wake up enough to cook....

Lol, I think 10 is waaaay early, but, I work 4-midnight. My perspective is skewed. I only woke up early because of the refreshing change of weather blowing in the window.

I'll need some caffeine at about 2pm, lol.

I am SUCH a nightowl, I had no clue it was 3AM until I put my book away, turned the light off and looked up at the ceiling to see the projection clock and about died. I've been trying hard to be a morning person and it's so difficult.

Ten AM is definitely early for you with that schedule!

I think this heavenly sounding stuff may be breakfast tomorrow. We need fruit and oats to recover from bacon overload today. RCC, a BLAT is one of my favorite sandwiches, yum!!
