Saira - Poppyseed dressing?

Saria,

I had the most delicious spinach/strawberry salad with candied pecans and poppyseed dressing. I practically licked the plate! I asked the server for the recipie but she just said to look online. I was hoping you could help?

Thanks
Just make a vinaigrette and add poppy seeds. I don't know since I didn't taste it myself if it would have been a lemon or vinegar-based one. If I were coming up with one, I'd probably do lemon zest, lemon juice, shallots, Dijon mustard, champagne vinegar, and a touch of sugar emulsified with sunflower oil and a small amount of olive oil (2 parts sunflower, 1 part olive for your 3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar). You could improvise it to your liking though.
If you want a concrete recipe, there is this:

Here is another, but note that vinaigrettes made with all olive oil aren't my thing, and frankly, restaurants all pretty much do two parts mild oil (like grapeseed or the sunflower which is what I like at home) to one part olive oil. It's not just about price, but because they taste better.
