I grew up on this stuff in New York...Nutella on everything!! But my friend makes the best Nutella and PB sandwiches, I swear--even though it's just on wonder bread I think she puts a magic ingredient in them so I always ask her to make one for me and bring it in to work

Oh, Nutella

I saw an 11-pound jar of Nutella last time I was in NYC. I wanted to stick my whole face in it.

A simple desert is grilled pineapple with nutella drizzled over it. Actually any grilled fruit is better with nutella.

Toast or grilled bread with nutella and bananas or strawberries or both.

Quickie smores graham crackers with nutella and marshmellow fluff.

That almost sounds like a better version of a smores, but I do need my actual marshmellow . Never got into the fluff.

I am sure regular marshmellows would work fine.

Nutella is one of those foods I just can't buy. (The other one is halvah!)

I bought some nutella after reading this post and OMG it is wonderful. I use on bagels instead of butter/cream cheese.

nutella + hot oatmeal

One of my favorite desserts for guests is a box of the Costco cream puffs and nutella melted in my fondue pot. Just give each guest a skewer and they can dunk the cold creampuff in the hot nutella. It's awesome!

I love Nutella on plain old unsalted crackers. (I can make a rather embarrassing mess on my desk at work!)

I did see a special chocolate episode on the Food Network yesterday where Giada Di Laurentiis made Nutella Ravioli!

I've got to try this recipe! http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/g...pe2/index.html

I was in the Piedmont region of Italy a few years ago where Nutella was created. They use it in coffee! You gotta love the Italians!!!!

Use the back of a spoon and smear about 1 teaspoon of Nutella inside a coffee cup then fill it up with coffee. I like cream/sugar in my coffee, so I mix it up before I pour it into the cup so I don't disturb the sweet, heavenly spread of Nutella! You kinda have to eat this with a spoon - yummy!!!

OMG, halvah. The last time I had it was when I was young and needed to fill out, but that wasn't why - I think I just wanted to try it. My mom may have known how high in calories it is, maybe that's why she got it for me. I remember it being absolutely delicious, but it's kinda scary how many calories get packed into such a small amount! Too bad my brother didn't like it. He is now a ravenous teen-beast.

Default Nutella

Comfort food, oh yeah....

World Market has a version of Nutella chocolate hazleneut spread that is wonderful and comes in a larger size...

Nutella , Hazlenut Chocolate spread is another word for delicous.... In my house it is used in coffee with a tad of Irish Cream or Frangelica...
My adult kids come over and hijack the jar to take home with them....

The thing that I'm liking about it since my initial trial phase is that when I need a chocolate fix, a little bit on a spoon goes a long way in killing my craving. I'm finding it more intensely sweet than I did initially. A good thing, I guess -- helping me stay below the recommended serving size more easily.

By coincidence, this recipe for nutella rice pudding was on the first page of tastespotting.com today.

LOL... With Nutella, I'd probably close the jar after five or six too many spoonfuls. After all, it's extremely rich. But I will devour whatever halvah I have within a few hours. I have no self-control whatsoever when it comes to halvah. I once made the mistake of buying a big tub...

I grew up in a German family, and since Nutella is well known in Germany, I've been eating it for... as long as I can remember My mom and I were so happy when we found out they sell it at Wal-Mart! My favorite ways to eat Nutella is on whole grain bread, strawberries, in a peanut butter and Nutella sandwich, or just straight out of the jar. I love it!
