I really need help! I want to find a stylist in Hartford County, CT, who can both cut and color curly hair well, who LISTEN to my needs, and don't just tell me to get a keratin treatment- who actually understand and LOVE curly hair!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Personally, I would not recommend Jo' Bruno's. I had a bad cut by Luvena and would never go back. I don't understand when stylist like to push their idea on your hair... Anyways, bad experience there that has cost me to grow out my hair..
I have been to the work shop , only once and would not consider going back.
I hope to find a stylist that actually listens and doesn't do what they like best.

I read some reviews, all good from D Sabrina. They are expensive but again out of 20'something or 30 reviews, none were bad. I think that has a lot to say. So, as of now, I will consider them, just not until my hair actually grows, which for me might take almost a year. So, until then.

hair seems to be moody.
Does not seem to like oils
Does not like protein or too much?
Does not like rich products

I go to JoBruno to get my hair done ,by Luvena, and have never walked out of there upset (I've been going for a year now). I get a deva cut but she also does my sisters hair and cuts her hair wet. She also did color on my sister's hair and it looks amazing. So I'd say that this salon is amazing (and I actually have an appointment Friday).

I can also say that Jesse at JoBruno is a pretty good stylist too and the colors that she does are always on point.

I know a lot of people that go to JoBruno...I have a lot of naturals in my life

Glad to hear you had a good experience and hope you never have to get a bad hair cut. I have been going there for two years, and the trim has always been on dry hair.
Its good to hear you have a lot of naturals in your life, good for you.
