Salon Studio in Bernardsville, NJ?

[oops--realized I initially wrote the wrong town in the subject line (& spelled it wrong to boot!]

This salon is having a big sale this month. They talk the Deva talk, & from poking around here I gather that the owner, Renee Harpster, used to be at (or own?) Zoo Crew in Long Valley, which is gone now (I think) but had a good reputation.

They do have two very good reviews here, but I can't find any other posts by the reviewers so I don't know if that should raise a red flag.

I finally got my first dry haircut last year, but it wasn't what I hoped for. I am so sick of bad haircuts & esp. now, after having invested a lot of time & money in trying to improve my hair, am desperate to finally get the right cut.

I've often thought I should just go into NYC for Devachan but I read a lot of bad stuff about them too, so I am perpetually wavering. Sigh. Why must it be so hard to find someone who can handle my hair?

Thanks.

Leave-in Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut; looking for a replacement for the no-longer-CG Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition
Gel Looking for a replacement for the discontinued LAL blue gel. Also thinking I need a low- or no-humectant gel for high-dew days, but haven't figured that one out.

The Salon Studio is owned By me, Renee Harpster and YES I was the previous owner of the ZOO SALON which I sold last year. The Salon Studio is 100% dedicated to the The Deva Cutting technique. Which is Deva's revolutionary method for cutting curly hair. The hair is cut dry, simply because we wear our hair dry not wet. We cut the hair in its natural form, curl by curl. Since curly hair and it's spring factor can be misinterpreted while wet. This unique innovation allows the stylist to sculpt each client's hair, according to their individual curl, look, and style. Along with a AMAZING cut at the salon you need to use the DEVA products.
I had a really great stylist at Laboratory in Morristown and now he's gone. Tried a couple of other people there and had really bad haircuts. Can anyone recommend a good curly hair stylist?
I go to Valerie Harrison at the Kathryn Joseph Salon in Morristown. I used to go to her at Laboratory but she moved to a smaller salon down the road when they expanded.

She's absolutely wonderful.
