Looking for stylist in Toronto, Ontario

I need a stylist who will not get all scissor-happy with my hair. I just want to shape it with a few fairly short layers. One dimensional hair just does not go well with my face shape. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Have you tried The Curl Ambassadors? Ive never been but I'm planning an appointment and I've heard some good reviews. Pricey though.

I know this is off topic, but If you're interested in going to a Toronto natural Hair meetup, put your name or inbox me and lets see if there's enough interest. Thanks in advance!

Dunno if you're still looking but I went to Parlour Salon at Queen W. and Ossington right before I went CG and I'm happy with my cut. I asked for Cheryl because the bio of her on their website said she likes to work with curly hair...plus, she has curly hair herself. I asked her to fix the shape but not take off too much length and that I wanted to make the most of my waves. She cut my hair wet, dried it under the hood to see how it looked when dried naturally, then finished the cut...so I feel that she really paid attention to my hair's natural shape. She really listened to what I wanted too, like how I normally wear my hair, which products I use, etc. The prices aren't bad. $60 if you're a student. You can book and keep track of your appointments online through their website too which is convenient.
