Oh interesting... No, normally I either cowash or occasionally use a clarifying shampoo. Not sure if I should cowash tonight or just use a clarifying shampoo for a clean slate.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I find that I can get away with it if I use them in small, small, amounts... Like pea sized. Unfortunately, a lot of it is trial and error.

Sounds like you just haven't found the right balance. 2c hair can be pretty finicky because it's a bit curlier than most wavy hair but it can't quite handle the heavy products that curly hair can....
