I flip upside down and scrunch with a curlease towel. It's much easier this way to grab onto the shorter layers and also to scrunch all the way to the roots.

Yep, I never call a cut "done." It always needs touch-ups, there are always things I'll do differently next time. But you do get a lot better at it pretty quickly because you get daily feedback.

No matter how good the cut and color, I have never had my hair styled at a salon and walked out happy with the styling. I now always just leave with the my hair wet and do it myself when I get home....

IMHO, while baking soda and ACV rinses used once in awhile to help remove buildup can prove beneficial, I would think using them on a regular basis could be extremely drying.

Which FX Curl Booster is it? Mine doesn't have any SD alcohol in it and is definitely CG. It's the gel that squeezes out and is a pale yellow - almost looks like squeezable margarine.
