I think the Sprite Shower filters are around $20 at Home Depot or Lowe's. Might actually be less expensive to get one of those plus some virgin coconut oil to condition your hair, rather than a bunch...

If I am understanding what my stylist explained to me recently, you just need to avoid harsh shampoos, especially in the first few days, since the hair shaft is still open and it can pull out color....

The Naturtint does have peroxide in it. I'd stick with RC at first to see if that gives you what you want. Both are really pretty colors, though!

Well, I'm a mahogany girl myself, but of course it depends if you prefer cool or warm reds. Someone on mua posted pics of a mix of 1/2 medium mahogany and medium auburn, it was a really pretty color....
