Whenever my hair feels extra dry, I put straight olive oil onto my dry hair and leave it on for 20-30 minutes before washing. Maybe that will help?

I think it depends on how loose and how curly your hair is. Mine has tiny, loose ringlets, so when I sleep on it wet they are easily mashed. If I braid it and sleep on it though, it works.

when i got bangs, it did not work at all. I just ended up with tiny, freaky tendrils all around my face. They didn't flow at all. it depends on your hair type though.
