I am hoping to get some ideas on hair accessories (for updo's) that will not cause damage to the hair, besides scrunchies and claws. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

I just got a different hair cut that I really like, but my gel that I have used for a long time doesn't seem to work with the bangs. My hair seems to like pomades..I just ordered the Devacurl pomade...
