The amount of moisture my hair needs is redonkulous as well. I didnt think about it being desert-ish here, but im sure thats a factor. I have short 2b hair and use tons of gvpcb every time i wash.

I live in a very dry area as well. I would recommend sealing somehow. Most girls use a few drops of oil, i am sensetive to oil so i am still experimenting. I would recommend regular dt's as well.
