Poor and slutty?

What a weird attack? I agree that calling a woman a ghetto slut is wrong, it's a vicious attack by someone who hates her.

Hairdressers who insist on blow dried straight hair

The subject says it all! Why must my hairdresser blow dry my hair stick straight after I say I love curly hair and want to bring out the natural curl, as I do not want a blow dry, and have been...

Obsession with straight hair

There's just an obsession with straight hair in the USA everywhere you look. My former boyfriend wanted me to straighten and blonde my hair for his father who hated Jewish women. I love having curly...

Same thing

Same thing happened to me when I straightened my hair for a man and when I let it go back to curly, he broke up with me the next day. Stating that he couldn't see himself in a long term relationship...

I had to recommend John Freida's straightening products, my hair is curly but it doesn't straighten. Instead the spray on reduces the curls to soft waves which is a nice change. The front layers are...

Color

The color shouldn't fade if it's permanent color. If it does then you can refresh with a semi permanent. There are natural alternatives out there too like you mentioned. Soon enough you will see your...

Cheap Conditioning

I've explored pretty much everything cheap to condition my hair. Pure aloe vera gel is great for conditioning and doesn't require a product. Lots of products are based on aloe vera, with some water...

Color ideas-For Redhead

Hi, after 7 years of covering my gray with a strawberry red that is closest to my natural, I am running out of ideas and I am getting a bit tired of the same. I tried once having highlights around...

Aubrey

I agree with Solange on Aubrey Organics GPB conditioner, it helps my curls stay soft and curly not frizzy. I rub a little on the hair ends and bangs and leave it on all day-no build up. It has aloe I...

Still Curly

I am a 3b, red and I cover my gray. I'm still just as curly, and I don't see much damage. I agree using peroxide or lightening the hair damages the cuticle and causes frizziness, it's night and day...
