It sounds like you became sensitized to perfumes and formaldehyde. I am very allergic to fragrances and can only handle a few products myself. It's one of the reasons I didn't end up trying the BKT....

Formaldehyde exposure as the procedure wears off

Using a ventilation system during the process is one thing. I'm concerned about the formaldehyde that could be released as the treatment wears off on the air, especially if you decide to flat iron it...
