I finger comb through all my hair upside down....

I finger comb through all my hair upside down. Then scrunch in whatever styling product I am using. I get loads of wonky bits when I clip.
There is a lot of trial and error in this. What works for...

That makes sense. Can you imagine having to clarify to get residue from shampoo out of your hair?! I guess it's the "thickening" stuff. Makes sense that it has the potential to build up.

Is this a Normal Reaction to Protein?

This morning I dissolved one packet of gelatin in 1/3 cup of water. When it cooled I added 1 teaspoon cider vinegar, 2 teaspoons Suave Coconut condish, and a few drops of coconut oil and mixed well....

I'm confused. Is it possible that adding oils and conditioners to the gelatin could block some of the protein from binding with hair?
