Just brown sugar scrubbed into the scalp to exfoliate. In the CG Book, it says to mix it with your co-wash, but I usually use it plain first, then use some co to dissolve it some at the end.

She uses hairpieces. I would think that you would need a hairpiece or a "rat", which you put under your own hair to add height/volume.
